Fox Typewriter Company, Michigan, USA

Patentada en 1898 por William R. Fox y Glenn J. Barret. Era una máquina con el mecanismo por debajo del carro “upstrike” de cuatro hileras de teclas hasta modelo 10, posteriormente los modelos fueron con el mecanismo frontal “frontstrike”.

En 1917 introdujo las máquinas portátiles con cuatro modelos: Baby Fox, n º 1, n º 2 y Sterling o n º 3, todas las máquinas con un teclado de 3 hileras, se caracterizaba por su diseño del carro al replegarse detrás de la máquina.

Las máquinas de escribir Fox tiene un encanto especial por sus calcomanías decorativas.

In 1917 introduced the portable machines with four models: Baby Fox, nº1, nº 2 and Sterling or nº3, all the machines is 3-row keyboard and the design in that the carriage folded back behind the machine.

Fox Typewriters have a particular charm for their decorative decals.
