HELIOS

Fabricado por Helios Schreibmaschinen GmbH, Alemania.

Su primera fabricación fue en 1908 por Justin Bamberger y Schreibmaschinenwerke Deutsches en Munich, Alemania bajo el nombre de Helios.

En 1909 la  compañia Kanzler  formó la empresa Helios Schreibmaschinen GmbH y cinco años más tarde en 1914 cambio el nombre de la máquina por Helios-Klimax y con una pequeña diferencia en la distribución de las 3 teclas del mecanismo de mayúsculas que pasaban a estar en el teclado.

El mecanismo de impresión era un cilindro con cuatro filas de caracteres, un total de 21 teclas en dos hileras en el teclado.

Se pueden encontrar otros nombres Bamberger, Ultima y Portable Extra.

The printing mechanism was a type-wheell with four rows of keys, a total of 21 keys with 2 row-keyboard .
